This program is designed to help you build ownership in a way that is practical, repeatable, and transferable to every area of your life. Ownership is not something that shows up only when things go wrong or when someone points it out to you, but it is built through the way you respond to situations, challenges, and feedback each and every day.

This week is focused on understanding what ownership looks like in your daily actions, your motives, and your responses. Over the next eight weeks, you will learn that ownership is one of the most important drivers of your growth, consistency, and your ability to build trust between your coaches, teammates, and even yourself. This is CRITICAL to your development as an athlete. Just like every pillar of strength we stand on as an athlete or person, ownership is not built in one singular moment. It is a trait that develops over time through how you take responsibility for how you prepare, the effort you choose to give, and your response to challenges that arise. And as an athlete, you should already be fully aware that challenges are going to come up over and over and over again. But soon, you will begin to recognize how ownership, AKA accountability, shows up in your daily actions. When you do this, you will create a foundation that allows improvement and athletic advances to become more consistent and more dependable as you go. Throughout this week, the goal is to become more aware of how you respond in different situations. This is paramount because those responses are what shape your habits, your overall athletic development, and how others trust you not only as an athlete, but also as a person.
